Paranoid

There's a light on in the den which I leave on in case of strangers
And the locks on the doors keep me safe at night
The wheels in my head keep turning
Its helps me with my fright

I wake up to a barrel of booze in the morning
And my smokes fill up the room
The walls that were once white and swollen
Fade to to grey with ashy gloom

But don't tell me I'm alone
I'm merly in your spell
I push and I shove to break loose
I'm in your state of hell
And you're so coy
Don't look at me, darling
I'm paranoid
