Our Place From Afar, Just Me And You

Let's go to a place where we can catch the stars
Take them home in a cookie jar
No trains or planes or even cars
Our place from afar

Let's go to a place where dreams come true
Where we can go just me and you
Take a rocket ship straight to the moon
Just me and you

Let's go to a place where we can see
The universe and galaxy
Gee, what a wonderful time that would be
Just you and me.

We can dance and sing on saturn's rings
We can play guitar on planet mars
We can do all sorts of magical things
Our place from afar

And when the sky grows light and blue
We'll float back down on parachutes
But there will always be room for two
On our place from afar, Just me and you

Mine Forever

There's a gleam in your smile tonight
That catches my eye just right
Theres a note in my heart tonight
One in which I wrote to write
My love
"For me"
For you
So i hope you kindly wont mind
"I don't mind"
If I read it aloud to you
I know, i know, i know
If we go to the moon tonight
That by tomorrow you will be mine forever
We can wave goodbye to the sky
have the stars put on a show
Or we can just soak up the twilight
Yet the only thing I know I know I know
Is if we go to the moon tonight
That by by by tomorrow you will be mine forever

Old Fashion Charm

I've got a pep in my step
I've got a slick kinda click
Why it must be that old fashion charm
I've got age in my voice
I've got my poison of choice
Well I must be conveyin' that old fashion charm
There's a girl that I like
She's calm, cool and nice
And on a warm summer night
I'll hold her so tight
When the evening is through
I wont know what to do
But i hope she'll pull through for me
While the balls in her court
I'll make sure that I sport
That old fashion feeling
That vintage appealing
That old fashion charm
Once I give her a kiss
On those ruby red lips
I'll have found what I'm missing in life
And while I'm walking away
I'll make sure to portray
That old fashion feeling
That vintage appealing
That dancing on the ceiling
I'm talking about that old fashion charm

Remember December

Let's stroll through December together
And watch the last colors of fall
The night won't make us blue
My jacket's on call
Once the glow of the sun loses it's light
It'll comfort the snow enough to take flight
And we can watch in wonder
With one arm in the air and one over the others shoulder
We can dance through the street lights
In our Sundays best on a Monday night
The orange glow will be a peaceful back-drop to a down pour of fluff
That calmly hits our face until we have to dust each other off
The silence of the storm will fuel our lust
And our eyes will keep us lost
"Let's dance through December together"

I Don't See You Anymore

I'm sleeping in today
The get up in the mornings are too much for me
The get up in the night time is right for you
I'll find the middle ground between us
I'll be the one to make us feel brand new
One of these days we'll dream together
One of these days we'll fly
One of these days we'll hold each other
One of these days we'll close our eyes
Drift to sleep to play pretend
You'll be my earth angel
And I'll be your moon man
Together we'll collect the stars
Twirl them around our heads to create our fable
Please don't play hard to get
I don't want our love to be a surprise
I promise to explain to you the sunset
If you promise me to explain the sunrise

It's A Wonderful Night

Nights on the road
Far far from home
Speckles of hope
And shimmers of dreams
Fall from the summer's moon
Shooting down like beams
And you make it beautiful
You make it magical for me
I'll hold you so fragilely
And if you never let go
I'll hold you for eternity
But you puzzle me
Our grasp will match forever
But if you find that we are coming loose
Piece me back together
Give me a part of you
Wake up those sleepy eyes
With butterfly kisses that keep us shy
Hear the AM hours
The songs sound different then they would with brighter skies
Admire the silhouette towers
Which are nothing more than trees to the naked eye
The stars reflect off of our faces
As we stare at the sky above
Romantic stories of time and spaces
Will always give us a place to escape
As we begin our eternity of love

Smoke in my Head

I'm gonna get stoned
Just to know what it's like to know
I'm dangling on the hopes of the stars throne
But no one will let me grow
I can't wait to laugh
Go out and sail the moons path
Sing the songs of Johnny Cash
With a barrel of booze and a pound of hash
You can't stop a mind at work
Ideas come and ideas fade
And these dreams of ours begin to lurk
But before we begin to let it out
We realize what we cannot shout
I like the girls in town
They're pretty and sweet in an LA way
They to want to get away
Just not on this sunshine day
I don't want to be the man
Who goes to work for the man
I'm just so tired of an assembly line
Who wants to make a stand?
I'm here to be myself
The things that I left home without
Are there for me to find again
But first I'm gonna make a stand
I still like to be alone
And I still have the world to roam
But until then I'm on my own
Sitting here getting stoned.

Forever in Words

Keep on talking
It'll keep me listening
And when the words lose there grasp
Your eyes will keep them glistening
Keep me honest
And You'll know the truth
When everything is perfect
We'll be the eldest of the youth
Don't always dream of the end
Dream of the ways in which we were meant to live
The reasons don't matter
What matters is what we have to give
Keep the love
All that I have to give
And what we had in years past
We will be able to relive
Take my hand
And feel the timeline of work
Each crease tells a story
And every stupid story will leave our minds with a stupid smirk
I love you
That's all I have to say
And when all is said and done
It will be the last words out of my mouth at the end of each and every day

Who I Am

Don't you ever dream with your heart?
I'll lead your weary head to comfort
And you can unchain your bones for a start

And I always watch your shadow on the moon
The rocks and the gray in your grooves
Always wanting forever much too soon
You dance while my eyes shine on you

The lack in my touch wants to feel you
And the slack in you grip's letting go
The rope that I sent you has come loose
But I'm down here just wanting you to know

Who I am

Girl of my Dreams

Passing through the night lights on the road
One by one we just watch them pass and go
Pass and go

She stares at me through her reflection
Wondering, hovering behind my head
I want so badly to make you mine
I want so badly to catch your infection

The nights that I wanted to be alone
The nights that you pushed me around
I search the world but you're still unknown
I know you don't want your secret to be found

But tonight I want to be the one to drive you home

Passing through all the blue and white decorations
Don't you like them?
Bleeding through
Seeping into your world

I'm here for your direction
But you try to blend them?
I'm here to mend them for you
And straighten your path that tends to bend and curl

Chasing your glance as the lights reflect your glow
Flash by flash I watch your glance and glow
Glance and glow

The nights that I wanted to be alone
The nights that you pushed me around
I search the world but you're still unknown
I know you don't want your secret to be found

But tonight I want to be the one to take you home

Porch Nights

Rest your head on my shoulder
And I'll rest mine on your head
Like a puzzle piece we sit together and watch on a porch bed
Soon growing accustom to our scents and curves
Boy, she gives me chills just by gracing the tip of her nose across my neck
The wood planks beneath us decide to warm up knowing that we aren't going anywhere soon
The moon keeps us chilly enough to move closer and closer
My eyes are her passenger and her finger is there to steer
She points out the fresh green fields that wiggle and giggle at us
But we just sway back to them to the rhythm of our song
We take turns whispering it into each others ears
"Ohhhhhhh sweet darling, you get the best of my love"
We make a pact to make this our spot throughout the years
She keeps telling me that she likes me and my response is always "How much?"
She stretches her arms to her sides
And wraps them around my neck "This much"
She gets up to turn off the light
And stumbles back 'til she finds my touch
"Look up"
I stand to my feet
Her eyes are always something that I seek
"Hold me close"
Until we feel our breath on each others cheeks
We dance to the longest hug
And the night will go down in history
As the night that she got the best of my love

Land of Mirages

The desert drew me a map of what it took for me to get there
Pin pointed landmarks and X-marks in the sand for me to dig at
It made the sun keep its eye on me for protection from itself

It's lonely in air that refuses to enter
It's lonely in sand that feels like burning comfort

But the mirages
Ohhhhh the mirages!

They are like living dreams
I can control them
The gold is the perfect reflection
And the visuals have the perfect complexion

The only problem is that when I want to touch them
They won't let me near them

The mirrors in the sky shift in a whole different direction
So I shift my feet in order to confuse them

There always seems to be water on the horizon
I mark the location and place some dust in my jar
Hoping that later on it'll come into use

I always seem to lose my place
North South East and West
I try to travel through the middle ground

Sand angels tend to send me towards the grainy depths
And today is the day that its quickness has caught up to me

My once sprawled out limbs have shriveled
My eyes glow as they find their way down
I don't see anything until I enter the land of mirages

They no longer run away from me
They smile and invite me to touch them and enjoy their company

I just wanted to thank the sun that watched over me
I'm enjoying my stay at a place called serenity

I'm Too Young To Be Getting Old

Do you remember all of those memories
Back then
Back when
Us kids would dream of everything
We think now is impossible
What's not possible?
Earth is a star spinning in place
Set up somewhere in this colossal thing we call "space"
Do we even know where we are?
I'm still young
You're still young
It doesn't matter the age
1 to 101
Who cares what anyone thinks about anyone?
Who cares if I want to be an Astronaut
The President of The United States
What if I wanna be like
James Dean or Bill Gates
What if I want to invent a song
And have the world sing along
Or set out on a boat and sail all the oceans and seas
I'd watch the dolphins and feel the waters cool breeze
I'll build sky scrappers that hit the moon
And give everyone the chance to see different shades of blue
I'm gonna go out and help the poor
Get them off the streets and into some warmth
Because I'm too young to be getting old
My Parents and Grandparents and Great Grandparents
Are too young to be getting old
Songs I used to sing are growing dust
And the DJ's categorize them in their eras genres
Events that seemed like they just happened
Are shown in documentary 3D screens in my renovated High School
The streets black top that I used to play ball on
Has cracks of gray with black rubber stripes to help them heal and bond
I look at my poems of the past and feel all those feelings that were in my head re-enter again
And the nights dreams I would have after I put down my pen and pad
My writings are growing longer
And I seem to fade away from the past
About my love of the moon, the stars, and the sky
About the girls that I wrote about that I thought would last
I don't write as often as I did
And that's what I'm talking about
I'm too young to be getting old
My thought process has shifted
Will I ever get back to the days where I would just sit in the back
And glance at the sky for hours
Or the Friends that I'd see everyday even after school hours?
Well, I think I've said too much
And endings of poems always take me a while to think of
So I'll just end with this
Remember the past but look forward to the future
And tell your story
The one that history has never told
Even if you're one hundred and one years of age
Because everybody is too young to be getting old

Monday Morning at 8

Now listen here all my gals and pals
I wanna tell ya'll a tale of a rabbit named Jack and a no named snail
Every Monday at 8 they would meet at the gate
Gearing up for the towns race which many called "The Week"
dingy ding ding ding ding ding Dong DiNg DoNg DINg DoNG
The odds were always at a high with all the on- lookers and passer-bys
Tossing there lunch money at Jack the Rabbits feet
The snail, who's name didn't matter to humanity, stretched his head above his shell
Not letting life's expectations bring him down
He was nothing cool or fancy, he wasn't even banty
But he would still get up every Monday morning with a smile on his face
Waiting to compete in the impossible race
Mondays at 8 came and went with the winners taking home their share of their risk less bets
Jack the Rabbit was known as the best there was across the land
Winning the honors of each week at hand
While others grew angry at Jack's god sent gift
The snail with no name stretched out his head waiting on Monday morning at 7:56
dingy ding ding ding ding ding Dong DiNg DoNg DINg DoNG
A year passed by, then a second, a third, and a forth
Jack the Rabbit was growing weary of always being first
And with the snail with no name's smile etched into Jack the Rabbits face
He began to feel furry and worry about the snail's capabilities
"Why was a nobody like him facing a somebody like me!?"
Jack the Rabbit announced his last race on his 400th week.
Funny, for it was The Snails 400th that he would also seek
The betters bet and the winners wept for their champion was calling it quits
"At such a young age," they thought." "The prime of his years!"
The bell rang out across the town and the two foes began their familiar trip.
dingy ding ding ding ding ding Dong DiNg DoNg DINg DoNG
The results were in and Jack the Rabbit had completed an immaculate career with a win
The crowd cherished and immortalized Jack and his flawless feat
As the snail went home and rested his feet
dingy ding ding ding ding ding Dong DiNg DoNg DINg DoNG
Monday morning at 7:56 there stood the snail with no name
With no one around him but him and his win less shame
The crowd of on-lookers and passer-bys began to stop and gaze upon its carefree smile
Once oblivious to motion less stares, the snail sunk its head down below its chest with discomfort and fear
And what happened next would bring the snail with no name to tears
Applause and plaudits gave the town an underdog sensation
that it's been lacking for years
As they cheered the snail with no name and its determination
For who needs 400 wins when you have 1 with a story and a song
And from then on the race that was once called "The Week" was renamed after the snail "The Strong"

Time in Space

I want to rocket away
Fly high away from reality for awhile
I want to clear my head and bust through the galaxies twilight

The stars on earth aren't the same as up there
They don't sparkle and gleam with the click of a dial

I want to rocket away
I believe that I'll enjoy the ride
Some peace and quiet will rock me to sleep and the sun will be my spotlight

I'll just hit the coast of the universe
It'll give me time to think before I arrive

I want to rocket away
I'll come home when I want to
I know that before too long my memories of earth will be my days highlight

I'll glide back down at excessive speeds
And then I'll show you what I was sent here to do

December Romancing

Beautiful delicacy
Elegantly she teases me with her beauty
From every angle she makes me tingle for her love
But lately it's been stronger
Harder to grasp her taste in boys her age
Twenty two, and faithfully but hastily she chooses from her cabinets
Of statuettes and realizes how hard it is to choose
I'll take my slip so I won't regret it in the morning
I'm longing to catch her smile, her eyes, or whatever mannerism she has to give
I want to take her on a stroll through December so that she'll always remember me
Nothing screams memories like a wintry lite up street
With nothing but us and the heat of our sleeves tangled up
Giving off friction and heat
I bet it'll make her cheeks rosy and her feet cozy
And I would promise to keep her warm
Cause I know how it feels to be left out in the storm
And when I awake in the morning
I know that I won't regret my ticket to her heart
At least I tried
Then I'll head back to the start

Drops of Gold

You can take all the honey in my day old tea
But one of these days I'll catch you
Wandering around my tupelo tree
The rain will halt our plans to swim
Without the consequence of shivering skin
Growing spotty thanks to the sea's breeze
Not until the sun makes its appearance
Will the water warm like tea in the kettle of
Simmering heat
Gold and yellow bubbles pop in slow motion
They soften as they form into a puddle of syrup
It fills to the tops of our knees
We'll soon recognize eachother as bees
In a pool of tea
And the rain will be the honey that sweetens our needs

Unseen Beauties

I rushed on through the fields
And wandered around to find calmness and ease corner me
Slow motion girls tease me with their half hearted grins
They dance to the strum of the grasses legs
Them half hearted beauties twirl and fall into the weeds of sin
Creating a mirage that my vision immediately misses
Daisy chains circle their heads
I rest myself a-top their flowery hair
And calm the strands that flutter neatly
Their golden locks match the skies setting sun
And as they sink deep into to the seedy ground
It begins to grows until it hits the tip of the sky
As the clouds nestle below
We find ourselves hidden from the unseen eye

Waiting on the World

As the world slowly turns
I turn to the world and ask for a chance
To feel how it's like to twirl calmly in circles
Through all the purples and blues
They help me to dream
The clouds in the sky is just dust in my eyes
From the long summer drought of girls in disguise
I'm shy to ask why the world has no trouble
Closing its eyes night after night
While I sit and watch by myself in delight
I catch myself grin as I stare at the moon
Yet it's reflection heads back with a frown and a gloom
But it's ok by me, and I'll still make room
For the one special girl to watch the world with me
And watch the autumn bloom

I've Been Trying To Get Down to the Heart of the Matter

I first saw you turned away
And could picture your beauty before I saw your face
I came up with all the things I thought I figured out before
But before I was able to get your attention I thought about the future
About where we'd be in years and years
Years that will come and go
And before we know
We'll be able to look back and remember how much we've grown
About where we'd be through the patches of grief and happiness
I saw through the twilight that circled my mind
And I cut down the vines that kept me from you
And once I came out through the other side
I realized
I didn't have a plan
I couldn't make you love me for anything more than who I am
I'm soft
I'm shy
I can't show you any other side
But give me your years
And I'll show you me
And I'm dying to see what you've got to hide

White And Maroon

I heard through the walls that they were about to crumble
Rubble, which cumulates up to my knees and blankets my eyes
I blink to slide away my 9th life
I have enough fight in me to shatter the hoary clichés
To look beyond the sealed lids of my drowsy sight
I’m going to find my lover in white
The devil’s dressed her in red to blind me from all that’s good in life
Light brings out the black in maroon
Spare me the fear, I’m ready to face my doom
For my lady in white who’s being taken too soon
I’m not what you call a God
I’ve never come close to being a son
I’ll make up for what the world has given me when I’m done
But the hero in the human isn’t taken from the heart nor the head but from its opportunity to become
One

Dancing Rain

The rain is coming
I've felt it before but today's the big poor
The trees flail their fingers next to my ears
They clitter clatter until it becomes too constant to hear
The earth dances around me as if my location were a metaphor
I'm alone in the storm's shadow
I try to savor the instances of light from the streetlight's gallows
But they flicker on and off due to the command of the night
I hope to come across you soon
The woman who dances to my delight
The one who can dry me from the darkness
The one who will paint me white when I'm blue
I may be in the eye of the storm
But I've got my sight on you

Looking Down At The Sky

I sat on the floor
For days, months, years, maybe more
I crawled to the door
Skinned my knees
But I needed to bleed
I stood to my feet
Stimmered and stammered
But soon conquered that feat
I walked through the door
I paced myself
Cause I've never seen a step before
But I soon didn't need any help anymore
I ran down the street
gasped at the breeze
Soaked in my T
But I soon found a technique
On how to get the weeze out when I breathe
I ran for miles that felt like years
The others would pass me by
But I'd give the pain my tears
I was ticketed by the stop signs
But I didn't have any rules that I had to abide by
The colors and words had just blended together in my mind
The cars tried to persuade me into a ride
But I just gazed ahead, not breaking a stride
I was soon faster than those cars
And I told them to buckle up for the ride.
Because I have now set my eyes to the sky!

I'll See You In The Bigs

I need peace
With you, from me
Some sort of symphony that burst
Out from strands of thought
Where the violin's bow tickles my nerves
And exhales inspiration out from my ears and mouth
I want them to sift from place to place
Space to space
I want to have knowledge
But too many pretty girls leave me
With questions and dreams
Dreaming like a dream
With dreams still unseen
In reality
With no part of you
There's no part of me
I can hear your eyes looking at me
They twitch at the sight of my instability
Swearing at my riskless fear of failure
'Do something for me'
'For the world to see'
I promise I'll give you a show
I'll make you love me

Without You

Life cannot exist without beauty
I hope to see you before you leave
But if I cannot reach you in time
Then I'll reach you when beauty no longer exceeds
But I must warn you in advance
I'll stop you before you reach the door
For there's no other beauty that can match yours
I will fade to black without your glow that gives the sunrise its pink
The clouds its wrinkles
The art its ink
The rain its sprinkles
The breeze its song
The trees its shine
The infants its yawn
If you must leave
Then I'll keep you in my dreams
It won't be the same
But it will be the only thing that can help me to see
For without you all I am is blind
You'll keep the poem vivid
And I promise to give it rhyme

Falling From The Sky

I can't get lost anymore, so why do I still hide?
behind the shades, behind the clouds, you can still find me in the sky
trudging through the turbulance which trembles up and down my spine
My bones are too weak for the altitudes force
I'm coming down from my high
but the way down is gentle and smooth
my hair grows longer with each whip of wind that glides through it
my thoughts grow deeper as i descend out of the blue limitless sky
I can't determine when I'll hit bottom
All I know is that it's arriving soon
will I beable to land on my feet
or will my impact affect my daydream mood

Words Are Flowing Out Like Endless Rain Into a Paper Cup

I was walking down the road today
And the lightning struck me as beautiful
I never once before in my life described it that way
But today was different from the rest
Today was the day I caught light in a bottle
A day where rain didn't bother my skin
It moisturized and tickled the corners of my chin
I'm not afraid of sensation
I'm not afraid to be struck twice
Waves of tears from angels eyes
Cover-up those of a man
Who looks to the skies and declares his freedom
His resignation from all the years that've passed him by
Wondering why oh why was I afraid of these stormy skies
Puddles grew from the roads wounds, but I wasn't scared
I wasn't afraid to show my bruise
I knew I had to keep on the road that lead me through these grooves
That old ashy road that knew my old routine
I can now see an opening
A cloudless breath of fresh air
After the warmth of the steam that glossed my hair
The mist was the last I felt of the storm
But I am now in a different light
I'm sailing a differnt sea
In another time
A different me

Words and a Picture

I'm no one special
just
a starlit chapel
eating a polished green apple
a light in a tunnel
who runs into trouble
a banana in the air
with yellow spots to bare
a tone deaf musician
but no one will listen
a free man to the touch
but a quiet man in the roots
a troubled stare
with every color to share
a loving pal
who cannot spell
a pointless run
that only makes me numb
a politician
without the whining and bitchin
a gust of wind
too strong to sing
a tennis ball
bouncing down the hall
A fading star
that went too far
a useless phone
that won't leave me alone
a performer
that hides in the corner
A jumpingjack
too nimble to crack
a painting scene
painted with sour cream
a toothbrush
to scrub the crusty stuff
a pig pen
too lazy to eat jerky at a white hen
a late night snack
that good ol saturated fat
a horror flick
without the trick
a tragedy
can anyone stop me
a king
without a ring
a poet
don't write it, show it
a human
who stays tuned in
a missle
without its sight
a lullabye
without a goodnight

Daily Scenes From Nightly Dreams

Hello to the dusk
Hello to the sun
Hello to the moon
Hello to the dawn

Hello to the dusk
It seems to me that you dim the sky away
I can no longer sense my liberation
For the fading blue brings out Mother Nature’s musk
And cue’s the fireflies to begin play
And as the bond grows between human and insect relations
I follow the curtain to the end of the day

Hello to the sun
It has lured me out from my shadow
And into a social scene
It gave me a hazy outlook
Featuring the girl of my dreams
Look, I can show you the photos that her eyes took of me
I just can't tell you what they mean

Hello to the moon
I knew you were coming soon
I could tell by the eyes in the back of your head
I can stare at you for hours without blinking
It doesn’t mean that I heard you
It just means that I know what you were thinking

Hello to the dawn
I should’ve seen it coming before I looked down
Before I woke up from my fall from space
I don’t think I’ll ever reach the ground
My window’s mesh whistled to the tune of my yawn
So I knew I was no longer looking for what I have found

Lost in the Windows Frost

She opens the door for me
with a fading grin on her face
the rain don't bother her at all
and with the slam of the door
she begins to find her place
so the rain won't follow her no more
the sky grows dim
as the lights fade in
and the glow of orange won't leave my sight
I guess the streetlight patterns are the newest sin
when will it be day?
I guess not tonight
she sits beside me
and loosens up her raincoat
and writes her name in the window's frost
while she admires the words that she wrote
She says:

"I've always wanted to get lost"

Can You See Me?

Could you look me in the eyes
Cause I see you in my dreams
But I can't see you in real life
You're just a blur to me
But on occasion
I see you the way that I want you to seem
Yet that's only in my dreams
And I still wonder why
I still want you to be mine
You turn the rain to snow
Whenever I shelter you from the cold
And the sunshine only seems to melt away the flakes from your nose
But every now and again
I see the side of you that I want to be shown
But that's only in my dreams
So next time we meet
I want you to look at me
So that I can see your eyes the way that they're meant to be seen

Hello Goodbye

The walk through the sunset's dusk reminded me of the sunrise's dawn
Which called my name with the orange of the sun
It reminded me that we all grow older than yesterday
And the rise of yesterday was behind me
While the run of the sun was still today
The orange rays grazed my back and silhouettes my shadow across the darkening skies to the West
And the sun begins to drown to the ground
I must follow the sunset so that I can stay in today
And leave tomorrow unfound

Uniquility

I can't remember how long it's been
Since I questioned the who, what, where, why and when
Shall we begin?
Who am I sometimes?
Who was I before?
Who is it that makes me shine?
Because at times
The words that come from my mouth
Sound as if I'm talking blind
What can I be?
What is the one thing I love?
What can I do to make you love me?
Because at times
The notion of the world in motion
Grips the boundaries of my mind
Where am I going?
Where can I go to know?
Where the days put a rest to their glow?
Because at times
The brightness of the day
Won't obtain what they're looking to find
Why do I believe?
Why can't I tell the difference?
Why can't brown eyes see what green ones see?
Because at times
The goal that stands inches from my reach
loves to watch my skin grind
When will this end?
When the sky falls?
When the colors blend?
Because at times
The wind brings with it the future
And the past gets left behind

And Then What? And Then We Looked Up

Hood ornaments on the dash of the night

The quiet breeze powered by shooting stars taking flight

I'd make sure each shooting star that grazed our hearts come true

Even the ones that stood still too

The slick glass beneath us still held a steady grasp

But we'd soon slip closer till our slunches hid the cracks

Our hands would clasp what was left of the remaining gap

And we’d find each other’s warmth hiding in our cheeks and necks

The tips of our ears could hear the warmth of our breath

And the moon would put the stars to rest

And as the stars fell from view

I knew our wish had finally come true

Trying to Fall Asleep With The Future in the Autumn Breeze

Save me a dream
We can sit here all day
Just sit here and listen to the November air
And watch our golden shadows glow from the suns glare
Save me a dream
Dear oh dear
Without making it sound as if it were a plea
Can you save a dream for me?

Save me a dream
We can lie here all day
Just lie here and chase down the frowning birds that head southbound
And chase them all the way down to the horizons ground
Save me a dream
Dear oh dear
I ask you before the autumn's dreary
Can you save a dream for me?

Save me a dream
Don't waste them on the summer
The night will come with the release of the sun
And we'll both fall into our slumbers
Dear oh dear
before reality leaves
Promise you'll save a dream for me?

Feel to Me

Feel to me
I feel through you
Sending cracks down the floor til I reach the other end of the room
Air is dark and stale
With each inhale
Of two hour bumps in the night
But in the A.M hours
We tend to get louder
Tend to send howls to the moon
Feel to me
And I'll feel through you
Sense the moment as our bodies move
Sweat strides between the friction of heat
Curving aimlessly
Down our arms
Across our chest
Hip to thigh
To the remains of her dress
Feel to me
I feel through you
Whisper softly
While you graze my ear
Nothing around
Just me to hear
Finger through our bitter hair
I want to feel what you want to bare
Feel to me
I feel through you
Kiss my neck
And you'll see me swoon
I'll swoon til I get to see your eyes bloom
Feel to me
And I'll see you soon.

Hurry Up, Now

Standing still
And the tips of my heels
Hold me up

I circle the sky
And I'm wondering why
I still feel stuck?

Stuck to the ground
As it spins me around
Watching the clouds
Clutter the sound
The sound of what's next
For this wanding fool
Let's get out of this mess
Before we get to old
To know what's new

Color My Night

You let me dream

I do it occasionally
And when I remember them, they seem to be the closest to reality that I've ever seen

You let me dream

It gives me comfort before my eyes go blind
And the night loses track of time

You let me dream

About how you look at me
Even as I lie asleep
I still fall victim to your eyes bribery

You let me dream

I wonder if you do the same

Occasionally

And you sense my eyes
Like I do yours

Where every burst of color
brings me closer to their contagious lure

Couples Quirks

Have you ever had someone with you in the morning
While you lie awake and listen to the rain pouring?
Watch the watered glass wiggle its reflection on the ceiling
And seeing what one another is feeling

Have you ever told her how lucky you are to have her
and her eyes would roll back as if you weren't telling the truth
So you'd kiss her forehead for proof?

Have you ever sat around with her all day
And just watch movies in your PJs?
Using each other's shoulders as pillows
And feeling the wrath of each others cold blanketless toes?

Have you ever called her up for a quick 'hello'
Then end up talking 'til the battery on your phone ran low?

Have you ever walked hand in hand
And swung them up and down as far as you can?

Have you ever sat side by side on chain linked swings
And watch as the wind made the trees sing?

Have you ever watched the sun fade away
And soon see fireflies set the fields ablaze?

Well, have you?
I hope some day I will too :)

The Golden Day Sinks Away

I knew I'd lost my way from the start of the day
but the light from ahead was brighter than yesterdays grey

My eyes did the talking
but my mind did the walking

I had to slow my pace
for the glow had already surfaced to the other side of my face

I couldn't understand why the golden day wanted to sink away?
And most of the sky had flooded with the blue's haze

I knew the day was trying to stay alive

My eyes had mesmer....
at the sight of each blade of grass and their shadows cast

And the way the lone tree's leaves dripped off and swayed into the golden sun's breeze

I can only hope that next time it'll be someone other than my eyes, my mind, and me

Nervous Wreck

I don't have a lot to say

So give me your attention for a second, then I'll walk away

Okay, so what I wanted to say was

that I think you're beautiful

And I know I dribble my words around but I blame you cause you're wonderful

When the wind flips your hair and flutters through the air

I can't help but notice which strands end up where

On your nose, across your cheek; cover your eyes

Not to sound cliche, but it makes me weak

And when we say goodnight I don't miss an inch of you until you disappear out of sight

I know I'm going fast but so far I've gotten all my words right

You're beautiful

Sorry, I had to say it twice

But I want to set things straight

I would've said it once more, but I'll save it for when we're face to face

Consecutive Dream

Hello July sky
You woke me early this morning
Seeped through the cracks in my blinds and past the lashes of my eyes
The clouds have fled, and your eyes have dried
but i can still feel the leftovers of your lullaby
I had that same dream for a consecutive night
A girl who would trap me in her vail of white
We'd both watch the shadows and the light dispute its angles on our faces
I'd never realized I saw her every night
I lost the times when I used to see her on a consistant basis
You've once again started me off with another beautiful day
Maybe I'll give her a call
Before we both grow up and move away

Where Are We Going?

Where Are We Going?
By: Steven Guistolise

Where are we going? Yes, kind of a broad and random question. But if you have a minute, just stop and think… where are we going? Where are you personally going? Where is your nation going? Where is our world going? Again, broad questions, but if we all sit down and take the time to really look around at our surroundings, we may realize that things are moving so fast that we can’t even absorb them before something bigger and better arrives. There are many examples of how fast developing this ever-evolving world has become. Sure, this world is 6 billion years old, and there were bound to be some discoveries, but some discoveries are so beyond us in a way, that you’d think god has personally crafted it from his home in the sky. Let’s all stop what we are currently doing and examine our surroundings, and when we begin to encounter new gadgets and people, and new ways of living, ask yourself; yes, where are we going?
First off, the question where are we going arose. If you don’t get the question yet then here’s where I’ll explain…We, as human beings have been around for a long time and we usually look back to the past, live in the present, and give the future a cloudy hypothesis, right? And we usually remember the memorable moments of the past, try to enjoy the present, and fear the future. We, as humans, have changed, many nations have changed, the world, THE WORLD, has changed. Get ready to see how fast we are truly going, but read quickly, or else you’ll be late for the future.
Humans have been walking this earth for several thousands of years. Some believe in Adam and Eve, some believe in evolution, some believe in humans landing on earth from another planet. Many researchers have said that the first human life form came some 60 to 100 thousand years ago. I’m not saying that this is a fact in any way, but I am just going to go with the scientist’s word to show you how we have evolved within this time frame. One hundred thousand years ago, wow, that was a while ago, but if you really think about it, that’s nothing compared to the Mesozoic era of dinosaurs, which is about 200-250 million years old, where green plants and warmth filled planet earth, and the rulers of this planet weren’t presidents and kings, oh no, they were reptiles. And around 5.75 billion years earlier than this Mesozoic era, planet Earth was born. So, when we really think about it, humans are new species to this planet. If you are a person who believes in a man by the name of Jesus Christ, then you’d probably know that he came to be about 2000 years ago. We are now entering the A.D era, which means Anno Domini, or in Latin: In the year of the Lord. These, in my opinion, are the fun centuries, or should I say kilo-uries. These 2000 years are the most exciting due to the emergence of a phrase called story telling. Many people would get the hang of holding onto stories that have been passed down to them from generations of family and friends. Also, many fascinating discoveries have been found in those 2000 years. Not to say that there weren’t many fascinating discoveries found in the “before Christ” era, because there were. But since this time frame, we have seen a lot of productivity in the world. And since we are talking about people, we’ve seen some pretty influential ones, um, yeah, actually really big influential people. Kings, Queens, Emperors, Dictators, Presidents, Popes, Prophets, Astronomers, Writers, Activists, Athletes, Heroes, Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, and You. Yes, remember you’ve come into this world as well, and before you leave, you will make an impact in the history of this on-going world. Even if you did something so tinny tiny that it’s the equivalent of a spec of dust floating around the universe, you still contributed. And in the time frame in which you are living, which I would hope is this time frame, it’s strange to see how fast this new word called technology is taking off. I mean technology can do anything, right?
Where am I going personally? I’m waking up in the morning at 6 A.M. from a Serta mattress and hopping in my shower, which was installed by Conchord builders. I’m then going to go eat some Jimmy Dean pre-packaged sausages and have a steaming cup of Foldgers. I’ll then enter my Ford Explorer with my new Sirius radio which pumps out a new tune from Matchbox 20. I’ll end up at school where I will be taught how to achieve a healthy new generation for the upcoming future. I’ll then drive my Ford to Wal-Mart to buy the latest iPhone and iPod. I’ll finally arrive back home around 5 P.M. only to go onto my PC and download songs from my old CD’s, which are finally going out of style, and toss them into a Balls jarring Co. storage box with my mom's Vinyl records and VHS tapes. I’ll hit the hay around 10ish only to awake to a newer and better way to make my day go a little smoother than the previous. And who knows, I may be the inventor of a certain something that improves the world before I die! Then I won’t just be a spec of dust, I’ll be a grain of sand!
I hope you got a little better idea of where you’re going personally? Now, where is your nation going? Well, a lot of nations have been up and running for centuries, such as England, Egypt, Italy, U.S.A…Whoops, Okay maybe not the U.S.A., but how weird is it to think that the U.S. is a brand new country, it’s only 230 years old. It wasn’t around back in the 1000’s, nah; it wasn’t even “founded” by white settlers till the end of the 1400’s. Mr. Columbus and his crew proudly took away the Native Indians land, and the land would eventually be infected with white settlers up until… well, they never left. Hey, some of the Indians got some of their territory back, but it still doesn’t make it fair. The U.S. seemed to have picked a pretty good time to become an independent nation, for the Industrial Revolution was just around the corner. This is the starting point of the world’s cultural fast track. Since the Industrial Revolution, many countries tried competing with each other by putting out the new best thing on the market. America, Britain, and China seemed to love showing off their new toys. Whether it be transportation, clothing, weapons, sky scrappers, anything. You’d think we’d soon be reaching the point where our resources would be limited? You can say we are over using some of these things, cough, oil, cough, excuse me. What will the future hold? Could it be that the world may be hitting its peak and we are getting ready to hit the dive? Hold on to your seats because we may have to slow down our luxurious ways of living. That warning goes out to the U.S., England, and China, because not all nations live like this.
Alright, now for the big question, where is the world going? I previewed a little in the previous question, but it looks like we may have to start to get into a slow motion mindset. For instance, when a new product hits the shelves, there should be a 5-year no new better product label on it, stating that the original product won’t be tinkered with for at least 5 years, then after that, a newer model can be produced. An experiment that has been bounced around under the radar has been to commit a full year to going back to the olden times and use nothing but candlelight and horses. These under the radar rumors are my own, but hey, think of how you could become a part of a big dent in the planet's history. In all seriousness, the world is getting larger and larger by the century and more and more ideas are becoming reality, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but some of these ideas take up a lot of resources. Soon, we may have to retreat back to the olden days, and not just to do the experiment, but because we desperately need to preserve our resources.
I’m so glad you had the chance to stop what you’re doing in this crazy busy world and answer a few questions that don’t seem to come up very often. The world is still turning, and as long as it is there will always be memorable events that help bring this world to a new stage. Some of the events will be tiny and some will be massive, but all of them will somehow help change the world. So, next time you feel that the world is lapping you in a 50-mile race slow down and ask yourself where is this going?

The New U, S, Eh?

Lyin in the light for a long long time
But the times been flyin by
New faces soon arrive
There expressions are those of mine
The search for the meaning is nothing more than the reflection in the sky
Ottawa's the place to be when the sun sets down and the light is hard to see
I don't think you understand the rules of being free
Just let your eyes lead
I can feel the top getting closer
I haven't felt the sun in days
But i can feel the flood of moister
You can tell the light is coming by the suns rays that begin to fade the greys
Just another day in the home of the few, the strong, the brave

Dream Girl

Dreamin bout a girl with my mind on her twirls. Her hair spun down to her skirt as she spun through my world. I stood and stared as she danced around as if she didn't care; who was here, there, or where she was going. And the evolution of mannequins on the streets were growing. It was just me and her. Both of us stopping to notice one another. We were two lights of the same color amongst the rest of the clutter. I still remeber when we use to dance on the streets with our bodies as they sway. I'll never forget my babe, not then, not now, not even after I pass away.

Peachies

Sitting in a white room

Filling with jasmin as the sun greets the afternoon

But I just sit

Waiting for the vivids to fade

Soon the peachy tint reaches every corner

It beats my skin worn

Sitting in a black room

Feeling lost and lorn

The crowd of people who once waited for me will not wait anymore

Call Me When You Wake

As i was asleep

The roof caved in through my bedroom

But the thing that awoke me was my heart beat

Serenading me with the thumping of a song that will never escape my head

And as I layed there in my graffitied bed

The only thing that I wanted to hear was the crisp sound of rain bouncing atop the fallin shackles

Purple cracks split the sky and frequently illuminated through the cloudy black hills

Don't save me now

I have enough windows to last me forever

And the glass will protect me from the rains plot to drown me away with the outcome of the weather

Tomorrow will bring with it reality

And I will awake with nothing more than the memory of my peaceful tragedy

I Coulda Been A Contender

I thought I was blinded by all the colored lights
Swirling towards me
They scared me
Lurred me into its deepest grey
You followed me home
But I knew
By the way the shadows didn't match when i moved
Shy'd away from the stretching cracks in the street so it wouldn't caress the bottoms of my feet
And there you go
The wind that kneeled my hair wasn't very descrete
But my body was sent into currents
To the beat of the cool desending air
And the waves free'd my tension
And soon the absence was too far gone to mention

The Gripping Wheel's Stand Still

The wheels have begun to spin again
No longer will they circle in a gripping stand-still
And life won't come at us via the lucky ticket of a raffle bill
The 3 A.M meetings that woke us up while we were sleeping were getting very plain and stark.
The shadows on the walls would no longer scare us, for it was too dark.
And we would call the afternoons our bedtime
So we could collect the pages of the 3 A.M wake-up call in our minds.
The fear of the gripping wheels stand-still will never haunt us again
Cause we finally found a solution to the problems end.

Will You Walk With Me?

Will you walk with me?
Down the path
Where you and I used to meet
Will you walk with me?
Cause you see, we are getting much older now
And we don’t have much more time to recapture our childhood vows
Will you walk with me?
I left my jacket in the past
And you are the only one who can keep me warm and make it last
Will you walk with me?
So I can see your eyes in their best stages
Where I can recognize the words in the scrapbook pages
Will you walk with me?
Through the paved grass from our feet
And the humid air which layers the heat
Will you walk with me?
Cause I fear I'll be lost in the breeze
And you'll soon forget about me
Will you walk with me?
The load on my back is too brutal to carry
And I'll have someone to sit with when I feel weary.
Will you walk with me?
Your voice echoes through my mind
And it takes me back to the simpler times
Will you walk with me?
Cause you're too far for me to see the ripples in your hair that gives the finishing touches of your beauty
Will you walk with me?
I heard the weather will cooperate today
And we will be able to hear the clapping of the trees as they sway
Will you walk with me?
I don’t know where we will go
But I do know that nature will perform a memorable show
Will you walk with me?
The never-ending distance wont give me worries
Cause we aren't in much of a hurry
Will you walk with me?
We can pretend to dance to our invisible music
And then create their lyrics
Will you walk with me?
Hold my hand
And promise that you will never leave
Will you walk with me?
The freshly fallen leaves are too green to feel anything more than its silky cream on the bottoms of our feet
Will you walk with me?
And forget about the world’s problems
Only to figure out ways to solve them.
Will you walk with me?
Till the colors become more vivid
And we can shake off all the things that made us timid
Will you walk with me?
We'll soon walk past the tree which holds our heart
Carved with some old rusty key
Will you walk with me?
The birds chirp to our song
And they never seem to get it wrong
Will you walk with me?
I heard somebody say
I turned to see nothing, and then turned away
Will you walk with me?
Oh, now I see
We're nothing more than two shadows of the past
Chasing down the sun so that our memory will last

Green Eyed Beauty

Green eyed beauty
Oh what you do to me

Green eyed beauty
Sparkles in the dark

And no one really knows the path to her heart
She seems to have hid it from the world

Making the men beg till they're red with the color of love
And there fingertips curl

Oh green eyed beauty
What have you done?
Do you do these things to have fun?

I can't look to the dark any longer
But my resistance is making my affection for you grow stronger

Green eyed beauty
Please let me see your pebbled emeralds

I'll keep them safe in my pocket
And when I'm alone to watch the sunset over the bluest sea.

I'll toss in your pebbled greens
So I can watch your sparkle even in my dreams.

The Patch of Grass Where We First Met

Meet me at the patch of grass where we first met. Boy, how the times have past. I remember the days when we used to play games and the older folks would call us energetic rugrats. We'd slide and run, swing and sway among the grassy fields of the summer sun. Too young to understand the worlds problems and only caring about the solutions of catching raindrops on the tips of our tongues. We'd get boo boos on our thumbs and, oh, remember when the cherry blossoms petals covered the ground in their pink crumbs. Smiling, free, climbing trees, what happened to those times? What happened to you and me? So for old times sake let me just say...on your mark, get set, to meet me at the patch of grass where we first met.

My Capes Reach Won't Beable to Catch the Sea

Nourish me with all that surrounds the sea of the cape. Nothing will follow me to its endless tips of ground except for the comfort of the sea that the land has never found. "Sea, keep me stretching my reach to the limits of my ability, till I am able to see a path of being free from me and you, the sea." The land that develops from under me can no longer rise from the endless sea, which seems to be going on until it reaches the tip of eternity, only to circle around again to the end, and repeat. And my only hope is that the everlasting infinity will halt abruptly. And the lone leaf from my old shattered tree will release its grasp and swivel down to the sea. And the leaf will give my vision something differently to read. But the breeze will soon realize the leaf, and send it beyond the sea only to leave me with the realization that I only have eternity to follow my dreams.

A Heart Almost Broken

These days just don't seem to be going our way.
And the stars that lit our hearts have faded with the rays
The rays of the sun that only shines when the pieces of our eyes cry.
We never know why we look to the sky when our dreams wist away with the ocean.
Cause you can never see through the darkness to the blue
You can never see through it with a heart that's been bruised while in motion.
But you know that one day a hero will come down and save you.
Save you from a heart that almost had been broken.

My Place From Afar

Come back down from the stars to the ground
And nothing will harm your place from afar
I promise it'll be safe from the human race.
And the sky will protect it from Mars.

I know you're lonely and I know you're scared but the love that will soon surround you will help you come down from up there.

Please come back down from the moons dreary frown to the warmth of the ground.
I know in my heart that nothing will harm your place from afar.
For no one else can reach it but you and the stars.
And I promise that next time I'll give you a jar so that you can catch all the stars from afar and bring them back down to the ground.
And you will no longer feel lonely and scared, for now you have love coming from everywhere.

Long Lasting Tragedy

For soon the lines run off the page...

5 A.M and I never called back to retrieve my mind.
What a mess I am as I scoop up my things and realize that I don't have any more room in my memory bank to cram the thoughts of the material that made me who I am in. The things that had always lingered long after their passings are now lost till another sense detector experiences the spell that was merely semi-lasting. Everything I seemed to know now diminishes before my eyes.
Go on and enter the bottomless quarry to retrieve your stories.
You must be brave.

For soon the lines run off the page...

Easy Breeze

Kneel in the fields of green and capture the easy breeze. It will soon sweep me up off my knees and into the fluttered wings of the birds that will never reach the ground. Take me to the truth of the moment please, that should break this timid routine. Coming close to the arc of the sky which transforms from light blue to a dark mysterious room. No turning back now, well, I don't know how high I can fly cause the limit is too distant to describe. So high that I can no longer see the ground nor the sky, but why? I guess I'll give it a try... It's kind of like a loose flare from a fading dandelion. It will soar till it disappears from sight and float throgh the light air with the easy breeze whispering into its ears as to where to steer..... Wooooosh.... The equator circles my mind and splits it into two seperate mazes, but instead of getting stuck at the same spot as always, the easy breeze lifts me off the swaying greens till I can find the right way to friendlier days.

Pleased to Meet You

Now you've got attention
But it wasn't your intention to be
The center of everything
You've seem to of have fallen from the flimsy branch of normalcy tree
And have forgotten how you used to be
Becoming all these things that you never ever used to see
But the words are still to fuzzy to read
Wander down the byway
Till you finally reach the highway
Surrounded by concrete
Then direct yourself home from normalcy street
Stroll on down the center
Where hot and cold weather meet together for a treat
Find the icy sleet of normalcy heat
Soon you will arrive home
Where there you will have survived the whole normalcy feat

Come True

Have you ever sat around all day and thought about your dreams? Where you imagine them so much that you are at the stage in which you can sense them. You get goosebumbs after creating the scenerio in your head.Gazing at figures that soon become obsolete. Always wondering if what you say will ever be said. If it will ever be published for the world to view. You've always been inspired by someone, isn't it time for someone to be inspired by you? We feed off inspiration, motivation, and determination. And I swear I.....nevermind.

Ecaep

Somewhere out there, out across the river and seas, the rigid mountains and fields of green. Lies a place called Ecaep. It's a wonderous escape from realities harsh traits. The prime examples are obviously violence and hate, but Ecaep does something more than just replace problems with solutions, it creates a fusion, a fusion of power which constructs our light towers. It connects the scraps to form a beautiful image. It's an image that will stand out among the rest.
Somewhere up there, up above the highest ferris wheel chair and fresh cloudy air, above the mint trees that soon clump together because we are to high to see, lies a place called Modeerf, the "real world" doesn't seem to care if it's there. But it's a wonderful place that is recommended if you ever feel stressed. Modeerf gives off a blast of fresh mess that sinks into the soul and it promises that it won't ever let go.

Sweat Away the Frigid Days

She was enticed by the cold night.
Her hands began to tremble upon the brief warmth of the ice.
And the dew numbed her shell.
But flimsy fingertips would exhale a blistering hell.
I don't know what caused the pulsating heat.

Pebbles produced.

I began to follow the stop n' go roll of the beads down to her feet.
And once the sweltering drippity drops stopped.
She collected them all and made a new ice block.

NIU

Coulda been something special.
Coulda been a teacher, an inspiration, a true professional.
Coulda been a father, a mother.
Coulda been someones one true lover.
Coulda seen the Northern lights on those cold Northern nights.
Coulda seen the emergence of a new nation.
Coulda seen the growth of your generation.

Can't.

But one thing that is certain is that you will become an angel, even though it was made by someone else's burden.

Weapon of Choice: My Voice

He feels the sadness.
It provides pressure atop the unbrakable bones that are put together under his cloths.
But that's the shell he chose.
He hears the voice of his existence, which bounces around his sturdy white sticks.
But he doesn't listen.
"The world will change, no matter what they say."
Say it out loud!
So the world can judge the words of one mans voice in which he hurls atop his personal high rise till the words become fireflies and scatter across the empty skies.
they'll soon become shooting stars to the dreamers eyes.

Breathe Me A Whisper

Whisper me a secret that nobody knows.
The ones in which you would love to scream out till your voice box explodes.
The ones in which you could cry enough tears to create an ocean.
Th ones in which you can barely hold in.

Whisper me a slogan. A phrase, a lyric in which you always used to sing.
The ones that always gave you the strength to find your way home.
The ones that you created as poems.

Whisper me a word. One that will cleanse my thoughts till they become pure.
I will hover my ear to your fading lips till you disappear.
And even when you're gone, your presence will still be here.

Now, give me your voice.
Let me hear it to the point where I won't forget...

Darling?

I caught your last breath.

The Other Side of You

Where have all the lights gone?
Were they ever really on?

The night fell over the beggining of the dawn.
And I never felt the presence of the sun.

And I never found the way
to that one special day, where the skies turned blue and the darkness went away.

The path you choose
will guide you to
a place you can't refuse.
And when you're there
you'll see the glare
of the light that leads you through.

To the other side of you.
To the better side of you.

When the world becomes one....

You May Say I Am A Dreamer...

Glimpses have been seen before, yet before we realize it they're gone. Our culture, skin color, religion, land, and ever-changing perception have split us into a whirlwind of different directions. Will we, the people of the world, ever see a "Coming Together Period?" A chapter in which our souls can look back at our crazy world and remember a chip in time in which we saw each other as human beings, the one thing that we all share. We are merely on a whimsical ride. The world has hit good and bad strides, but what shall happen to every little detail that has been produced when the world becomes fed up with its abuse? The dreams we've dreamt, the things we've felt, the emotions we've experienced, the way we laughed till we cried and cried till our eyes went dry. What will this infinite abyss do with all these memories that will surely be missed? I say we come together! Let's clasp each others hands and combine together our jagged lands and let our planet live as though it were one, the way it were planned.

Bill Cosby

Does anybody know if we are experiencing warm or cold weather?
I guess I'll just bring along a sweater.
Just incase the Ice caps decide to melt and flow to the center and pronounce their tenure.
And the frigid white erosion that will soon compact our homes in will surley be a winterland explosion.
With or without our Cosby sweaters we'll all still be frozen.

The World is your Canvas

As I stare upon my universal canvas, I begin to wonder how I should brand it. Shades of color soon appear; here, there, then disappear only to soon reapear. I begin to mix the piercing blue with a bloody maroon and get a purple prune. I speckle lemon drops of yellow dots on top of my purple lot. I change the sunny dots from a 40 to a 60 watt. The transparent twilight fogs over some of the horizons dim lights. A marvolous sight! I lay back on the only clear gap and admire my universal map.

You Were Driving Me Home

The bells were sounded.
My mind was liberated, lost.
Loosely bounded
By worn sutures.
The wind filled my hair with air.
Which poked through the seams.
I ended up with a soothing breeze in my dreams.

The World She'll Never Know

She loved the life she once used to know
But the fallen stone flew through and shattered her window.
She grew up fast and wondered if it would last
The warmth and love that seemed to have gotten up and past

She said:
"Nothing here is gonna save me."
"Once I'm gone will you all think I'm crazy?"
"No one knows the way I'm feeling."
"Prove me wrong and help me keep on breathing."

The day turned to night as soon as she awoke.
Her perception of the world was an evil joke.
And pretty soon she'll feel the senses in which she used to feel
The ones that brought that famous smile to her face.
And before she completed her escape.
She wrote to me

She said:
"Nothing here is gonna save me."
"Once I'm gone will you all think I'm crazy?"
"No one knows the way I'm feeling."
"Prove me wrong and help me keep on breathing."

She dropped the drop.
I popped the lock
And nothing was clear to me.
Standing there, where oh where was my mind - please come back to me.

Just please come back to me.

Please come back to me.

Please come back to me.

Please come back to me.

Our Stay on the Moon

Her cryptic shadow danced across the sky.
But just a sillhouette to my eyes.
We made our way to the height.
Of the night.
That shined so bright.
It'll be day soon!
So let's not waste our stay on the moon.
The water moves to the oceans groove.
The ripples overlap the wrinkles to the southern moon.
Feeling free to the beat of the sea.
My goodness, my darling it'll soon be June!
Let's not waste our stay on the moon.
The willow trees sound off in the breeze.
It sends the sea to its knee's.
I kiss your lips and sense a hint of maroon.
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Now, listen my dear.
I will croon you our tune.
So that we will never forget our stay on the moon.

Escort Me in My Angel

Once you walked into my door
My jaw dropped to the floor
My years have come and pass
And now is the time I see my love at last
Your fragrance soaked my room with daisies
Are you here to save me?
My eyes examine the room
You know you're dying when people are crying for you
My time is coming soon
I spin my eyes back to my love
And notice she has become a dove
I rest my eyes and see
My angel on the other side with me

Woman Control of Man Mind

Help me see what has gotten into me so we can figure out what this is all about. Cause I'm just lying around, soaking up the sorrow that made you feel down. I connect the dots to your special spot. My mind is in knots but I don't want to stop or else It'll float away with the frigid draft and into a whirlwind of nothing, nothing but the infinite blue and white marbled air that may swirl your hair to the point where you wont care. You look beautiful. Will you mar...shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Deja vu Day

Nothing feels right anymore.
The day tells me to stay in bed, so does the man in my head.
The morning light doesn't shine as bright.
The moon seems to be hiding from me.
I loved to watch the stars, I felt as if I could touch them.
They are now tiny nothings from afar
My mind is drifting through a predictable schedule.
I can't budge this routine.
I'm at a stand-still.
Maybe this is just a boring dream?

An Escape From Reality

It's time to dream. Nothing's impossible when you dream. Lie in bed and shut your eyes feel as if you can touch the sky. Peacefully things float through my mind leaving the bad things behind. No one dies no one cries, you can be an angel and still be alive. So reality, I'm sorry but you will have to wait, because I'm going to be a smidge bit late to awake from this reality that I have temporally escaped.

Call It Your Own

Float across a vast ocean of precipitation. Count the layers of color in the sky. No, no need to look back, back at the blurry past. Flies by you to quick to catch. As my skin grows duller and my hair grows till there's nothing left I see and hear a sparkling burst of air, gleaming stars in pursuit of my world. Do I want those stars willowing towards me? I glare till there is nothing there, nothing there at all...but oh, oh yes the wall, the wall with no entrance nor exit. Forgive me for not opening it up for you. I couldn't catch you after your fall. Crackle of the wood rooftops that lay upon it shatter, and pitter patter as the sun removes its existense. I can now walk through to the other side of life. It is a sweet sight of nothing, nothing but a blur. No, no don't look back! step forward figure out how many layers of color you can count now.

Perfect

Pebble drops of rain grasp onto the tips of grass.
You can smell the combination.
The bright blue skies pull the flowers up from there slumbers.
I stand amongst the golden fields.
Color galore!
It brightens up my day.
Your cedar brown eyes glow as the sun hits the sides.
I've missed you.
