Hood ornaments on the dash of the night
The quiet breeze powered by shooting stars taking flight
I'd make sure each shooting star that grazed our hearts come true
Even the ones that stood still too
The slick glass beneath us still held a steady grasp
But we'd soon slip closer till our slunches hid the cracks
Our hands would clasp what was left of the remaining gap
And we’d find each other’s warmth hiding in our cheeks and necks
The tips of our ears could hear the warmth of our breath
And the moon would put the stars to rest
And as the stars fell from view
I knew our wish had finally come true
